Over the last five years I've leased a 7-series and 5-series - both great cars. Last month I ordered an X5 4.4i with basically every option but the sport package. To date, I haven't had any real problems with the bmws' I've leased. I've heard there have been pretty significant reliability problems with the X5. I'd be interested in what people's experience has been with this model. Thanks.


I have a 2002 3.0 with 6000 miles and have had no problems what so ever and I am very particular. I also have a 2001 530i and that car has also been without problems. I believe that the 2002 X5's have had most of the bugs worked out that the earlier ones had
