I've got a very minor 1 inch long scratch in the clear coat on my X5 hood. It hasn't erased it. If the scratch you are seeing is serious enough, the $300.00 bucks is better spent on a reputable body shop. I'd check that order if I were you. My obital buffer is real nice for polishing and waxing. But its not f&^%ing magical.
