I first drove the sprot version and the stiff suspension turned me off of the X5. Going over bumpy roads was a horror. But, after I drove the non-sport version, the ride was comfortable and I was sold. Given the potholes, bumps, and other conditions of the roads in NY, especially the city, I recommend the non-sport version.
