I did mine with silver paint. Works great.

**Take out the bulb
**Tape the contacts to protect from paint
**Using Silver spray paint (I used 500 degree High Temp)lightly spray the bulb.
**Don't put it on to heavy
**Re-install

Total cost 3.95 for paint :)
