I just purchased a X5 3.0 Titanium with PP, RCP, CP, rear air bags, and xenons from a Cenral New Jersey Dealer. I tried to get $1500 off sticker but had to settle for $1250 off because there were 3 other salesmen negotiating deals for X5's. I squeezed my delivery in late May. The X5 market seems real strong with many dealers not having any deliveries until June and July. I tried to get $1500 off at other dealers in NJ and PA and could get $1500 off but would have to wait for June or July delivery dates.

Can anyone provide advise on how to have the dealership correctly set up key memory system and for how many keys. In reading this informative board, this issue has been addressed amny times. The saleman told me that this problem has been addressed by the factory and should not be a problem.

All suggestions or comments appreciated.

They can program 2 master keys with memory, whatever functions you want. Just mark on the sheet which functions you want and they can do all keys the same or differently for each key. There is no "problem" with this.
