Unless you will change to 18" tires or less for the winter, I would advise against it. 20" tires are not advised by BMW for winter conditions, and the traction would be substantially reduced, if not dangerous. I think the 1 big advantage is esthetics. Ride comfort is diminished on anything but perfectly smooth roads. Although I think they look awesome, I have resisted getting them, considering I live in the northeast.
