On the BMW website under the X5 Standard and Optional Equipment, it lists additional information on the Xenon low beam headlights with auto leveling. The link states,"Bi-xenon headlights include xenon high- and low-beam headlights and feature auto-leveling to adjust for varying passenger and cargo loads." I called the BMW technical information line and they told me that this change for having both low and high xenons occurred over the last 6 months. They apologized if the website and literature may not reflect the new specifications.

Yes it says on mine too...but i asked the dealer and they said that only the 3 series and the 7 series come with bi-xenon...

I just oredered my X5 and on the bmwusa website it states in the production notes that my car will have "Bi-xenon Headlights." How are these different?

bi-xenon (like on the 745) for the X5? I don't have any type of Xenon right now, but was wondering if you could get it. Thanks
