Dave,
a pony tail alone won't do it, because it thrashes around and you'll die a death of a thosand small cuts, if you are tall - 6'+ then a cap is more than likely to get blown away -
I have found the best solution is an extra wide head band such as a tennis player would wear.
Good luck with your new Z.

: I finally got my ship date for my Z3!!!!!! (1/27/98)

: Now comes the (somewhat trivial) question for any of you who are long-haired Z3er's:

: I'm new to the world of roadsters and was wondering...what is the best method of keeping the long hair in check while enjoying having the top down?

: Is a pony tail sufficient? Is a cap/hat required? Windscreen? Must I cut the hair? Other ideas?

: Thanks,
: daveR

: COMING SOON:
: Z3 2.8 DrkGrn/Beige/Beige
: (OBC, 17" wheels, chrome, power top, CD changer)
