Thanks alot Scott!

: For the nose bra -- i use Woollite to wash the interior and same on exterior, if real dirty, try McGuires (SPL?) Car Wash and Lexol leatherette conditioner for shine. I clean the bra while off the car/
: I use S-100 polish and wax, it is just the best. Can be obtained at BMW or Harley motorcycle shops.
: For wheels, watered-down Simply Green and be sure to get inside the wheel, waxing your wheels both inside and outside assists the cleaning process. Stay away from "wheel cleaners" they are too strong and potentially harmful to the finish of the wheel. Tire dressing, I use ArmorAll high gloss, works and looks great.
: For the Top, Woollite and follow-up with ScotchGuard waterproofing. These two products work well and are cheap compared to the BMW convertable top care kit. As for the plastic rear window, stay with the products at the local BMW dealer (McGuire's), clear plastic cleaner and polish, Get a Z pillow and use your window blanket. Good luck.
: : Need info about car and equipment care for the following:
: : 1. Nose Mask- best to use a mild dishwashing soap such as
: : Ivory liquid for cleaning, or do you recommend some other cleaner. Also, does it make more sense to clean while on the car or should it be removed before cleaning?
: : 2.What type of wax should be used for the exterior?
: : 3.Wheel Care- what do most of you use for the alloy wheels
: : Also, what about a recommendation for tire dressing?
: : 4. Finally, how do you care for the ragtop? If it doesn't appear dirty, do you avoid getting it wet when you wash the car, or am I overly paranoid?
: : 5.Typed finally, but have one more. Plastic window in top- need cleaning recommendation.
: : Already read the recent discussion about leather care products.
: : Thank you
