I have baught two sets of tires recently from Tirerack. They are competitive in price, their recommended installer was very good, after paying for the installation I was still $10 a tire lower that I could get them locally. I recommend them highly.
: I know this is off topic, but I know how broadly grounded everyone on this board is. I'm hoping there might be a few who know of a similar message board devoted to VW Jetta...My daughter's car (92 Jetta 4 dr) is in need of new all season radials and I'd like to find a set that get especially good traction on wet snow and ice for the Colorado mountain winters.

: Check out the Tire Rack, to see what is available then call them at (888)362-8473 and tell them your specific requests and see what tires they recommend.

: I have not purchased tires from them and have no personal experience with them, but I've read notes from several other people that think very highly of both their knowledge and prices.
