I have had three 3 series convertibles, two 325s and a 328. Did have one seam in the first car that kept coming unsewn and finally had a factory rep come down and help the dealership figure out how to keep it together, had the car for 3 years and never had another problem with it. The other two cars never had problems although I didn't own them that long. The quality of the back window in the 3-series is much better than my Z3. The 3 series windows didn't cloud and a quick cleaning about every other month kept the windows relatively scratch free and clear, which is not the case with the Z3. It was clouded a month after purchase and scratches, it seems for no reason!
