I will gladly donate all the junk I take off my New Beetle to get rid of DRL's on it to you. These rate right up with the "mouse belts" as worthless junk the safety establishment has foisted on a captive public.

Has anyone elso noted how many cars you see driving arond with ONE HEADLIGHT on during the day since the advent of DRL's? I would rather save my headlight bulbs for use when I need them than not be able to turn them off when I don't.

The one saving grace of DRL's is that the empty socket where the relay used to go make a great place to tap power when hardwiring a radar detector.

Better to have the "lights on" behind the steering wheel than in front of it.
