Don't know, just seems funny that dealer and factory both told me same. BTW, the roof didn't leak, just was hard to close.

: : Karl, the tech at homecoming, said to always close the drivers side clamp first. He said the dealer should have told me that. My dealer did tell me and thats how I do it. I still needed to have the right side adjusted in the tech tent.

: : : I had a similar leak and I closed the drivers side clamp first when putting the top up and that took care of it for few months then I had to have it adjusted by BMW to stop it the second time.

: : : : I just got a new top on Friday, but have to bring it back.. there seems to be an "air leak" on the driver's side.. kinda sounds like the air coming through a slightly opened window..
