Getting out of a lease early can cost $$. Usually you have three options:

1. Return car to dealer and make the remaining lease payments to the leasing company.

2. Sell car outright to a dealer. Like a trade-in, you will be offered wholesale value and you need to cover the difference between that figure and the buyout (determined by calling lease company, updated monthly, like a loan).

3. Sell the car privately.

Your best bet is to try #3.
