my friend who can do the part number <-> dealer cost lookup tells me that it was "bad thing" I did, making this offer. I'm a bad person. :-(

: I'm a new owner also (May, 1998)- '98 1.9 Altanta Blue, Black, Tan Leather. I love the ride and the head-turning quotient is nice too. Do you ever take 101 during rush hour? I'm heading south in the am, north in the pm, and people doing the double-take at the car leave ***justenough**** room for me to squeeze in a lane change. I'm making it to Santa Clara from Menlo Park in 20 min. (Well, 13 minutes record time at 5:30 am ONCE).
: What's this about part #s and dealer cost you say? That would be great info to share here.
: Say, did you buy at Peter Pan BMW in San Mateo? I did, great salespeople and great service. They're taking my car next week for 3 days to repaint the entire hood for a little 2" scratch that appeared just before I took delivery. I think the loaner is a 318ti :( I'll miss my blue baby next week.
