No stereo, no decent seats, no carpets, no ABS, no traction control, no power steering, no electric windows/wing mirrors/seats, and as for the top - well, anything that requires you to get *out* of the car and fiddle with an allen key (hex wrench) for 5 minutes to get the top down is a no-no in my books. And an engine developed by Rover.

And where are you looking to get them for 4 grand less than a 1.9? The Z3 is GBP 23K and the Elise is GBP 26K, unless you go on the waiting list (12 months???) in which case both list prices are about the same (or were when I last looked).

And didn't you find getting in/out of it with the lid up a *real* pain?
