When I picked up my new '99 M roadster, the dealer handed me a BMW print out for service indicating the voltmeter would be available in the spring of 1999. Installation is free (at least for '99s), but the time delay is really poor customer care.

: Latest word from BMW NA is that the release date for the infamous volt meter "has been pushed back to the end of October."
