G'day Jeff.
IMHO, A little AX will not only improve your driving, but make your car even BETTER to drive. BMW builds some of the best 'road car' engines in the world. Give your Z3 the chance to bounce off the rev limiter a few times (in fact more than a few) and you'll soon see how much 'freely' the engine revs out. The more miles you do - the better the engine gets (up to a point). Drive it fast & drive it HARD! OK so you might wear out tires, shockers, brake pads, rotors, suspension bushes... so what... just get new ones!!!

Greg.
