As long as you take good care of the car, eg: Let it warm up completely befor being hard on it, change the oil regularly, keep it clean, take care of the tires, and all of the other things needed for a real thuroughbred, it will just get better.

Mine ///M is much faster AND smother now than when I first broke it in. 13K miles now. (Wore out my first set of tires at 12k.)
