Join us for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Fall Leaf Cruise on Saturday, October 24th (rain date Saturday, October 31st). It all starts at the Valley Forge National Park Visitors Center parking lot (at the park entrance, State Routes 23 & 363) and heads west with stops at St. Peters Village, French Creek State Park (pack a picnic basket for lunch) and Sadie’s Bake Shop before ending at the Accomac Inn for an optional dinner (anyone with a long drive home can take off from the bake shop). We’ll cross more than a dozen covered bridges along the way, stop for lunch on Hopewell Lake, and visit some great country roads, farms, streams, bridges, horses, cows and sheep. And, of course, there’ll be tons of beautiful leaves.
If you’re planning to stay for dinner, call the Accomac Inn directly at 717-252-1521. Ask for Dan MacDougall, the innkeeper, mention the Z3 Fall Leaf Cruise and reserve space in the Queen Anne Dining Room. We hope anyone within reasonable (four-hour) driving distance and able to commandeer a Z3 will join us. E-Mail Tom Mosteller at [email protected] to sign up and receive further info as it becomes available. For more information, check out the Fall Leaf Cruise web page. See you on October 24th.
