I tried but wasn't successfull in connecting my autoloc kit to the BMW alarm. You may be right that the window switch 12V source won't work with the BMW alarm. For now, I am quite satisfied with having just the one touch window features. The alarm connection would be nice, but I'll attempt that again some other day when I have the patience and time.

Lou Voerman, who has contributed to this board, was kind enough to offer some tips for connecting to the alarm that I'll pass along. According to Lou, the black/yellow wire in the BMW alarm harness gets pulsed (+12V VDC) and locks the doors when you trigger the alarm. The wire that is pulsed when the alarm is triggered to unlock the doors is the blue/green wire. The yellow wire in the alarm harness is connected to the battery. The autoloc instructions are different depending whether your alarm has a positive or negative output trigger. Neither Lou nor I were sure whether the BMW alarm has a positive trigger or negative trigger.

Again good luck, and if you are successful in hooking up the kit to the alarm please let me know.
