Great post Karl. For the first few times don't worry about others time just work on improving your own personal time.. You'll find the car is better than you think and you'll be in the hunt very soon..

It does sound like the course was'nt designed very well...From my experience if more than 2 out of 10 miss gates, it's the course design. And by the second run you should not miss any.. The course should be designed so it is run in second gear,even if it luggs alittle in the tight corners.

At our CCA autox's we allow a passenger as long as they have a helment. That might be helpfull in figuring oput the course and to get some feed back.. I've also had our local SCCA chapter allow riders and those guys have been very helpful to me.

It's addicting and you'll enjoy it the more you do it, it's kind of like some other things in life!! So enjoy and drive safe..Tom
