I called my old employees tonite and asked them if they had ever done the back window of a Z3. They said that they had not but they had done the soft top windows of a Jeep. They only difference being they Jeep windows are usually in a flat position (as opposed to being in a folded position). They were of the opinion that as long the the tint had the time to properly "cure", (i.e. dry and adhere properly) that it would be fine on the rear window of a Z3.

My point being that the only person who knows for sure is the person that has tried it and failed.....or tried it and suceeded.
