I'm using the Yoko S-1 right now, and find them a good value compared to the Pilot HX. Better dry & wet traction, insignificant compromise in ride quality...if there is such a thing at 17" :-)

Dunlop SP8000's are awesome, but they're pretty pricey. I'm thinking of trying out the PZero Asimetrico next time. If you get the Nexus, let me know if you like them.

: Does anyone have experience with Yokohama Nexus tires? I am finding it hard to locate suitable tires anywhere, even TireRack is sold out for the next month on my first choice of Bridgestone Potenza S-02 Pole Positions. MXXX3s are nowhere to be found either. And I'd rather use a ball of rubber bands on my wheels than go with any Dunlop.

: What has caused this shortage of tires?
