...apology is not necessary.
Personally, I thought it was a picture of an individual who obviously loves BMW's and who was having a little fun.
Those prudes who can't see that are likely the same people who write letters to the editor of our local newspapers every day of the week. You know them:
1) my neighbors dog is peeing on my lawn
2) the mayor of this city won't shut down the strip clubs
3) it's a sin that you printed that picture in your paper last week
Don't allow a few losers to deflate your ability to have fun. Hell, maybe we should get men's versions made! Well, Ok. My big fat beer belly wouldn't do it justice, but I'm there in spirit!
Maybe the naysayers should sell their Z's and get themselves a nice, fine ol' 1983 cadillac. Then maybe their rose-colored glasses won't be fogged up by individuals on the '1983 cadillac message board' (which is probably a corkboard at their local Price-Chopper).
Sorry for ranting, but if you can't tell - I hate prudes.
: I want say that I sincerely apologize for the picture that was posted of me in past weeks. I just found out tonight by reading back that there was bad feelings of this. I wanted to have fun and I never realized it would get so much attention. You are correct. It is a terrible picture of me on a 100 degree day dedicated to cleaning my car for 3 hours, being proud to be in the front row. I also wear shirts when need be. Please understand that I never chose for this to be posted and if it was, so what. I think we need to have fun in what we do and love. I am certainly not a pervert. I am over 40, married, and have a daughter myself. My husband thought it was in good fun and was with me. I am sorry if I am not a bathing beauty, but I was there for the car and the event including all the wonderful people I got to meet, not to be judged on what I wore. Hopefully no hard feelings. I love being on the board, and having a few obsessed women who want to be involved, well, I just don't see anything wrong with that either!
