I got one for my car. I think it's over priced. It doesn't seem to sit tight snug on the car near the trunk area. The rubber trim peals off the first time you put it on, and I noticed that the finish is not as perfect as I expect it to be. It takes about 5 minutes to put on and you have to be carefull not to scratch the car, I did. It eats up almost the entire trunk, and you can't go faster then 80 mph.
It uses the original locations as the but to mount. They ship these two aluminum u=thingies that you strap rubber bungies around for the back mount and the two front ones sanp in where by the doors like the regular boot.
WON'T BUY one for my ///M roadster. There are two different types, one for roll hoops and one for without.
For 600 buck I should bought performance parts instead! Have everyone looking for the car not at it !!!
If you get one good luck.
: Has anyone invested in a Sports Fairing? Are they easier to put on than the boot? Do they seal better (ie. quieter, no flap or whistle)? Do they eat up the entire trunk in terms of storage? Are they well made? Do they use the BWM boot posts or do they need more hardware? Would you buy one again? Is the color a perfect match? All Thoughts welcome!
