I'm not trying to be anal but aren't they all z3's? I thought z3's were the only thing being built in SC as yet(I am probably wrong), so what other models would be shipped from there?

I was told that the plant also functions as a distribution point for the BMW's built overseas. So when you purchase that 750iL it gets built in Germany and shipped (via boat) to the US. I have no idea where the ship docks, but your 750iL is then transported to SC where it is prepped and distributed (via the trucking company and or trains) in the same manner as the Z3s are.

So it's possible to have your new 750iL and M roadster show up on the same truck.

(think I'll buy a lottery ticket today and test this).
