I have a '97 1.9 Z3. I installed the BEGI Supercharger kit myself (it
took 30 hours, I had some modifications to make as this was the first
production kit released). The kit cost $4995.00. It includes an
Autorotor supercharger (the same one Wiffle sells) and an Intercooler.
This kit IS the most expensive one out there, it is also the only one
with an intercooler.

You can get more information from Motor Sport Design (210-366-3636),
they sell the kit.

I have a little more HP than the 2.8 and the car accelerates very
quickly. The clutch is a little soft. If you DON'T push it too hard
you should have no problems. I plan on changing my clutch this fall (I
like to race so I need a little more clutch and a little less flywheel).

Any other questions? Feel free to contact me again.
