I have just turned 20,000 on my 1/98 2.8 and there is still at least 50% left on all 4 tires. Of course I must admit that I put on 8500+ highway miles on a 3 week x-country vacation and 3000+ on the trip to Homecoming. I've been watching the tires and it looks like I can get at least another 15,000 out of them. I don't drive like a maniac, but do enjoy the 'grin factor' on entrance/exit ramps...

: I don't know if anyone else is experiencing the problem I have just noticed. My 1997 Z-3 has twenty-two thousand miles on it, and one tire, the right rear one has worn down till it is almost bald. The other three tires are still in pretty good shape. My dealer told me that Michelin Pilot tires do wear out rapidly, but I can't believe that
: I should be replacing them at 22k miles. I have an appointment to have all the alignment checked out, but I was just wondering if anybody else had a similar problem and what fixes, if any, there are.
