... if the puncture was through the tread (not the sidewall) and you are going to stick to street driving (at sub-autobahn sustained speeds :-).

Autox is probably safe too, but think twice about heading out to the track. The odds of the patch giving out due to the heat are probably small, but in that environment the stakes are too high to take any chances.
