i reread my post and i didn't mistype it just may be a bit hard to understand...here is the simplified version...

water temp gets to normal first then the oil to 140...they do NOT occur at the same time

right now (with the morning temps in the 70s-i am guessing) it takes about 2 miles for the water temp to reach normal and another mile or so to get the oil temp to 140
