I checked out Fikse wheels at one of their local resellers. I had the chance to inspect several different styles and a wheel damaged at the track. I was very impressed with quality, weight, and service. The local reseller went so far to get Fikse on the phone to discuss proper wheel/tire combinations and required offsets - specifically 17x8 235/45 in front and 17x9 255/40 in the rear.

Unfortunatly, even with the BMW promo, I'll need to wait until after the new year before I can drop $2,000 into a set of wheels. Good news is that according to Alex, a Fiske guy, the promo will most likely last into next year. It's also my understanding the $500 number is good for all styles.

: Anyone have info on the quality of rims made by Fikse (www.fikse.com)? Check them out at $500 ea. till end of October. Polished aluminum such as this usually go for ~$800.
