Hi Josh!
You are definately the first Coupe owner to find their way here. Intersting --- the board has always differentiated itself as a "roadster" (topless) board, but the //M coupe seems to have much more in common with the Z's than with the other Bimmers.

You can find the answers to a lot of your questions by searching the Archives. (Note - the index to the Archives is only updated periodically, ask Alan if you need more info)

Several of the answers to your questions live in the Z3 FAQ. You can reach it from the top of this page. There used to be a link from the top of the main page, but I think it got left out someplace.

Anyone know what happened to the Z3 FAQ link on the main page?????

anyway, as others have said - the blank gauge is a problem you share with many //M owners - there seems to be no good answer forthcoming. You can get a cupholder as an even swap for the casette holder (your dealer will do it for free) The airbag sticker on the glove box just peels off (gently, hit it with a hair-dryer first to warm things up) then use baby oil or lighter fluid (sparingly) to remove the residue. The stickers on the visors are much harder and there's a small debate as to the use of Goo-Gone or cover-up (permanent marker or spray paint). Both have their proponents. If you get really desparate, you can order new ones ($45 each) with no stickers (what a deal!). What's the new head you're talking about? I thought there was only one. There was an orgy of stereo replacement going on about 3 weeks ago, check the archives for details, I think everyone generally agreed you should go aftermarket for real quality.

Let us know how you like your coupe!
