Randy C. in Austin has all of my old HK speakers and amplifier. I don't know if he has tried to install the stuff yet or not, but if he has, he should know if the wiring harnesses back there work.

Actually randy did this in my garage, but Randy had already upgraded the stock stereo to the $150 stereo kit that included rear speakers and the Nokia subwoofer. The HK amp (Alan's HK amp) was successful in powering his system and the HK front speakers didn't really sound that much better but they appeared to handle additional power better.

The question Fred and I are going to try and answer is can an HK amp be put in a '96 or '97 Z3 that doesn't have a subwoofer or rear speakers. (you see speakers will not be connected to four of the amps channels)
