Just back from the technical O.R., Dinan-chipped and air-boxed.
From 3000 rpm upwards, it really snarls. Surprisingly (to me at least), the biggest torque pick-up seems to be available at highway speeds. I rode home with an M3 behind me, and when I nailed it (and he followed suit) I amply held my own. Drop it into fourth at around 60, stomp, and it sounds like a miniaturized tugboat choir. FAR ballsier than OE. For a thousand bucks, it delivers heavily in the grin department. I'd hazard to say, if you have a 2.8, it's all the tonic you'll ever need (if and until your exhaust rots out and you go for Part III of engine tweekdom).
Bravo, Dinan people. Another satisfied roadster!
