The connector is the same for pre-upgrade and post-upgrade systems. It's direct plug 'n play, with the exception that you'll be missing three of the speakers...

All in all, I'm happy with it...Alan, I still owe ya...just say when and what! :-)

: going to try and answer is can an HK amp be put in a '96 or '97 Z3 that doesn't have a subwoofer or rear speakers. (you see speakers will not be connected to four of the amps channels)
