Cool! Of course, you know that folks are going to bug you for Boxster comparisons :-). And an M3 rivalry seems to be shaping up, too... Has M-Roadster been officially classed yet?

I hope I get to see some of the fun (hmmm, I might be able to enter Round 4 in oakland.)

: I will certainly bring it out for the gawkers, and if I can get it past the break-in period before the season ends, then I'll run it on the street tires. I'll be out there at least one day with weekend at the Oakland Coliseum, but I won't be autocrossing it -- I probably won't have more than 200 miles at that point, unfortunately.

: My gut feeling is that it will make a great autocrosser in Super Stock, especially with some much larger tires in the rear to try to hold back the wheelspin. The car isn't officially classed yet though, and it's a remote but unlikely possibility that it'll be placed on the SCCA's stock class exclusion list. Super Stock is the likely outcome though.
