It may be things such as this that make Z3ers kind of the bastard child of the BMW CCA. Anytime any group feels the need to single themselves out it usually leads to some sort of discrimination. Although UUC has nothing to do with the CCA per se, it came about through CCA members who are valued contributors to the BMW Digest e-mail list. My ///M roadster is only one of many different series BMW's I have owned and I try to help the owners of all types of BMWs on the digest by sharing knowledge (including UUC issues)I have gathered over the years.

It may be interesting to note that Z3's have the least number of postings to the digest. While we have this forum for model specific info sharing, much of the technical info that relates to our cars is shared by other BMW models (mostly the E36s) I venture to guess that you and many other people here also monitor the Digest as well, and those that do will probably agree that the Digest has a greater depth of technical knowledge regarding our engines and performance tuning as well as some of the most cunning UUC brains on the planet ;-) So please let this one thing be a commmon bond between the roadster set and the other Bimwads out there.

: how about UZI? Underground Z3 Investors (investing in aftermarket goodies, that is!).

: Besides, it sounds kindof cool to say you got an UZI upgrade for your Z3...
