: Even though I was educated here in the States, but I wasn't born here. English is my second language and just like any other foreigner, I don't understand all the American (English) slangs spoken to me. I admit that sometime they really confuse me. To all other English speaking people, I must be some kind of a joke. If there is any misunderstanding and confusion in my part, I apologize.
: However, one thing to know that there are millions out there who either don't speak or understand very limited English trying to learn or communicate on this MB. We know we have users checking on this MB from non-English speaking countries such as Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Brunei, etc. Sometimes a term is used by someone who means no harm but seemed a bit sensitive to others. If they (me) don't find such a term (slang) in a dictionary, its meaning is then judged or gussed in conjunction with the tone and expression of the content and hence creates misunderstandings.
: I thank you all for your comments, thoughts, corrections and understandings. It's good to know most people on this MB posses some of the best qualities. Unfortunately, there is always a few bad ones. But luckily, only a few.
