I replaced my Pilots with Dunlop SP 8000 tires. Got 'em at the Tire Rack for $87 each. They are as quiet as the Pilots, much better in rain and only a hair less firm on the corners. I like these tires; the price was right and performance wise, they are so close to the Pilots that I can't rationalize spending the extra dollars. My understanding is that the SP 9000's are better in rain than the 8000's and they're quieter yet--but they don't handle as well. My advice? Save some money and buy the 8000's: you'll like 'em better--probably won't be able to tell any difference between them and your current Michelin's. I can't hear even the slightest noise from my 8000's.
