as far as larger fuel injectors go, some do, some don't- it depends on the boost...it shouldn't affect scheduled maintainence

if BMW can trace the problem you complain about back to the mod then they won't cover it...if the problem is unrelated they should cover it
One maker of a turbocharger and supercharger posted a web sight note that indicated that it does not void your warranty.
which manufacturer? I doubt somebody would make that claim
I would rather avoid the legal arguments with my dealer and BMW. What I'm looking for is this, how has BMW actually treated a warranty problem with major after market modifications to their motor?
again if they can trace it back to the mod they won't cover it...end of story

i have seen some turbos for Z3s but none for an M, mostly SCs are put in....I believe it is George Boyce who put in an ERT SC in his M that he had at the homecoming, also there was an article in the Roundel a couple months ago about a guy who put one in his M...if it were me i would go with ERT over Dinan due to JimC being involved in the engine management changes in the ERT model...just my opinion though, i am in the minority here when it comes to JimC vs. Dinan, but i am in the majority on the Digest

By this I mean, should I wait until after the break-in period is over or until I have about 10,000 miles on a well broke-in motor? I should note that my Nissan 300z turbo came with the car, and I have had no problems with it in a little under 100,000 miles.
i have seen one and heard of one other M that had an SC added from basically the beginning, but i haven't heard about any problems

Dinan also offers a Supplemental Warranty for $2,500.00. Turner Motersports sells a Supercharger System for $5,995.00, says it takes 7 hours to install, and makes 356 horses with 302 ft/lbs. of torque. Does anyone have any experience with either one of these systems and do you have any recommendations?

Why is a Supplemental Warranty needed anyway?
b/c the BMW warranty (engine and powertrain, or anything else they can link back to that mod) is VOIDED no matter what any manufacturer of a turbo or SC says
