"A little information about a Factory Warranties (taken from After market News 95)

Federal Law states that the installation of after market parts cannot allow a car dealership to void the warranty on the vehicle. The warranty may only be voided under the following
circumstances:

“If an emission system or part failure is directly caused by the installation of after market parts, the manufacturer may void the warranty. It is not legal for the manufacturer
to void the warranty if a defect occurs
which was not directly caused by the installation of the after market parts.”

This does not mean that your dealer can not void your warranty, the dealer can void it but not legally unless the above is true."

I hope I don't get sued for copying that for you.
