last week, that would have to be a *real* early production if it's already on it's way to Europe!

Seven numerals would not be a full vin#. If you have the full vin# then there's a table showing which letter indicates the model year and how to translate it. The table is available in most used car guides and is surely posted on the web but I can't give you a specific url. Maybe someone here can. Good luck.

: I ordered a my Z3 2.8 two months ago in Antwerp, Belgium. My dealer confirmed me (not in writing however) that the car was scheduled for a build in week 14 (next week) and it would be a MY00. Today I received some papers for the leasing and noticed that my car got some production numbers WBACH31020LE86377 and 8867622 (VIN number?). I called my dealer and he told me the car is on it's way to Europe and it's a MY00.

: Question 1: Is this possible and can somebody find out if it's MY00 or MY99 using the given numbers.
: Question 2: What are my options when it turns out I got one of the last build MY99's?

: Any help appreciated since this situation makes me quite nervous.

: Stefan
