on the "B" shift March 24. It took about 4 or 5 days for the remaning MY99's to get through the line, so all cars rolling off the line as of 3/28 or 3/29 are MY00's. If you car is actually in shipment now, ie, actually on the boat, I suspect it's a MY99. If it's really being built next week, week 14, then it's an MY00.
: I ordered a my Z3 2.8 two months ago in Antwerp, Belgium. My dealer confirmed me (not in writing however) that the car was scheduled for a build in week 14 (next week) and it would be a MY00. Today I received some papers for the leasing and noticed that my car got some production numbers WBACH31020LE86377 and 8867622 (VIN number?). I called my dealer and he told me the car is on it's way to Europe and it's a MY00.
: Question 1: Is this possible and can somebody find out if it's MY00 or MY99 using the given numbers.
: Question 2: What are my options when it turns out I got one of the last build MY99's?
: Any help appreciated since this situation makes me quite nervous.
