: Thanks for an excellent post. It's nice to see someone here likes to think a bit.
: I get the "when you get older you'll change your mind" speel all the time. I don't know if that's so. I'm now 25. I don't see everything as black and white.
: I don't think it's all or nothing. I think it's as much as we can get, while still allowing others that same right.
: I just want to take exception with the trampling of others rights with Anarchy. Anarchy has a certain stigma to it, and most people take it as out of the question.
: If nothing else, it is the only pure and true way for people to live there lives. No black or white questions, just freedom for all. Do I support anarchy? In theory yes, but in practice I can't.
: A thin line? Yes perhaps, but that line needs to account for minimal intrusion by the government into personal lives, and personal freedom.
: Is it the best system we can come up? We certainly are doing well financially, but everyone does not benefit from that. I beleive we can and will do better.
: I beleive that information technology can lead in the distant future, to a true democracy, where people's voices can be heard, and we are not told how to think or who is a "real american" (a la bob barr).

: : I agree - and well said DC. As one gets older, one sees that the things that were so black & white are not so anymore. He fails to see this is not all or nothing. All = anarchy and the trampling of others' rights, Nothing = dictatorship. Here in America we walk the fine line. It's harder and not perfect, however, it's the best anyone has devised so far...
