Does somebody know what VIN was the first MY00 or last MY99. From what I learned browsing through the archives, the 10th character in my VIN code WBACH31020LE86377 tells me the Model Year. But only for US cars, for Euro models it's alwas "0". Guys can you please help me on this.

: on the "B" shift March 24. It took about 4 or 5 days for the remaning MY99's to get through the line, so all cars rolling off the line as of 3/28 or 3/29 are MY00's. If you car is actually in shipment now, ie, actually on the boat, I suspect it's a MY99. If it's really being built next week, week 14, then it's an MY00.

: : I ordered a my Z3 2.8 two months ago in Antwerp, Belgium. My dealer confirmed me (not in writing however) that the car was scheduled for a build in week 14 (next week) and it would be a MY00. Today I received some papers for the leasing and noticed that my car got some production numbers WBACH31020LE86377 and 8867622 (VIN number?). I called my dealer and he told me the car is on it's way to Europe and it's a MY00.

: : Question 1: Is this possible and can somebody find out if it's MY00 or MY99 using the given numbers.
: : Question 2: What are my options when it turns out I got one of the last build MY99's?

: : Any help appreciated since this situation makes me quite nervous.
