I loked in the first cell (a penny will open the covers nicely) and I couldn't see the water line! I figured this was bad, so I went to the local drug store and got a gallon of distilled water. I put so much water in the first fill hole, I figured I was filling up the first three, not so. All in all it took about 10 oz of water to fill the cells to the bottom of the fill holes (handy tip, I used a "sports bottle" to fill them, small nozzle, lots of control). Anyway, it is something worth checking
