On Monday, having just gotten out of breakin period, had 15-20 seconds of 120mph in 20 mph crosswind. Boot had only outer snaps fastened, and remained totally secure...no movement at center at all.
However, must note that plexi-deflector was mounted, and lower mounting straps snug up to front of boot cover, so this may be a factor in holding it in place.
With outer snaps only used, boot goes on (and off) in a minute or less.
