I have a hardtop for my MZ3 here in Texas and love it. It is no challenge to construct a lift in your garage using block and tackle or a boat trailer wench. I use a trailer wench and nylon straps to lift the top off the car. It can be stored on a BMW cart or just out of the way on the floor (or just left hanging for short periods). This is an easy one person job which takes less than ten minutes.

The sound system in the car sounds much better with the top on.

The car looks much different as a hardtop. (My wife likes the car's looks better with the hardtop than the rag top.)

Security is better with the hardtop.

The car seems to be more civilized (quieter, better a/c or heat and so on) with the hardtop.

I'd be happy to e:Mail the lift description to anyone who wants it.
