HK stereo system w/ BMW in-dash Cd going NUTS (archive)

again. Months ago the dealer replaced the amp, but to no avail the problem returned today. Been fine up until then. Got in the car started her up, turned on the radio and the door spearkers weren't working. Turn the radio off, turned the car off and started all over, but this time they worked. Then later this afternoon the high pitch noise that I've had before started coming threw the door speakers. Then later opened the drivers door and there was somekind of interference coming from the door chime causing a lower pitched sound to come threw all the speakers. Help!!
Any advice? Should I bitch, moan, and groan to the dealer to replace the radio/cd player with a new one?
